Mediterranean Pendant Series 3 - 'Sunlight in the shallows'

This hand crafted pendant is made from copper and decorated with layers of vitreous enamel. The enamel has been applied in layers and removed in places to reveal the colours beneath. The gold foil is contained within the surface by a clear layer of enamel and glows like sunlight.

The pendant has a 14 carat gold bonded chain and clasp and the pendant extends to 18inches long.

This ia a Pendant Necklace with an enamelled blue and yellow surface with a dark blue speckled effect. It is an irregular elipical shape. The colours intermingle with lavender blue at the top of the pendant and sandy yellow at the bottom. A darker blue creates a speckled effect from top to bottom of the pendant. The pendant hangs on a gold chain on one side and a string of small round lapid lazuli beads on the other. Only the pendant and a few of the beads and a portion of the chain is visible.
