This Autumn Sally will be running a series of Masterclasses on Colouring Aluminium
The One to One jewellery masterclass involves exciting jewellery making technique printing and dying aluminium.
You can make a couple of pieces of jewellery with your wonderful creations.
Courses run on Saturdays and Sundays 10:30am - 4:30pm
at Cockpit Arts in Deptford, South East London
Basic material costs are included in the cost of the course.
Sally's Teaching Experience
Sally holds a City and Guilds Level 4 Certificate in Further Education teaching and has many years of experience in teaching jewellery making. She has taught for Cockpit Arts, for Designercourses and at Greenwich Community College in addition to over seeing student jewellery workshop sessions at the London Metropolitan University in East London. She has also recently taken on the position of jewellery tutor at the Mary Ward Centre in Central London.
For the past two years Sally has hosted workbench experience to Erasmus students from Escola D'art de Menorca.
Sally studied art & design at art college in the North of England and achieved an upper second class Bachelor of Arts degree with honours.
Sally also wrote a series of exciting jewellery making projects for Beads and Beyond magazine and has appeared on the BBC's Learning Zone. Her cufflinks are featured in 'Anodized! Brilliant Colours and Bold Designs in Aluminium' by Clare Stiles and 'Coloured Aluminium Jewellery: Design and Make' by Lindsey Mann.
