Cute Bird Pendant

This pretty heart pendant is a lovely purple colour and is decorated with a cheeky little finch with a berry in its mouth. It is very cute and makes a lovely gift for a daughter or niece. It catches the light beautifully as it is made from polished aluminium.

How did Sally make the heart pendant?

This pendant is made by printing Sally's drawing of a finch onto anodised aluminium and then dip dyed in blue and pink dyes to achieve an attractive purple colour. The a heart is cut out of the sheet and hammered into a curved shape. The heart has a floral pattern printed onto the back of the pendant too!
